Prorogation requests must be submitted to the Atena system by the program participant at least 40 days before the final date of the program.

HOW TO ACCES THE ATENA SYSTEM AND REQUEST A PROJECT PROROGATION

You will need to input your USP number and email in order to generate your password. After that, follow this path:

(Programs – Postdoctoral – Request – Project Prorogation)

After concluding these interactions on Atena, present the following documents at the Department’s Bureau (Secretaria).

• Prorogation Request Form (doc);
• Declaration of Aknowledgement of Intelectual Property Rights (Annex III);
• Work Plan;
• Grant Contract (if appliable);
• Council of Department Approval;
• Research Commission Approval;

The documents must be sent in pdf format to cpqicb@icb.usp.br

Checklist

Program with paid leave from research institution or private company

• Declaration of Aknowledgement of Intelectual Property Rights (Annex III);
• Work Plan;
• Copy of proof of scholarship extension, annotated with the new period (the grant contract or a copy of the registration data page from the support agency website, including the dates, for example).

Program with no scholarship

• Annex II Term of Commitment 7406 (Annex II to Resolution 7406, 03/10/2017) (doc);
• Declaration of Aknowledgement of Intelectual Property Rights (Annex III);
• Work Plan;
• Printed partial report;
• Assessmente issued by a specialist in the field.
