Mission

CCEx-ICB has the mission to coordinate the educational, scientific, technological and cultural activities that enable the intaraction between ICB and society. CCEx aims to: 1) integrate research and education, spreading scientific and technological knowledge possible applications; 2) promote cultural activities and community actions in order to integrate society to ICB actions; 3) meet the ICB Dean’s office guidelines and participate in the Programs from the Office of the Provost for Culture and Extension. (Regiment CCEx USP, resolution n° 4940, 26/06/2002).

Philosophy

CCEx-ICB and PRCEU-USP understand that its contributions are collective constructions.

Vision

CCEx seeks to be a reference for society, meeting its scientific and cultural yearnings by diffusion and promotion of knowledge.

Objective

Reach the internal and external segments and society; atract and stimulate the pursuit and realization of personal and colective objectives, as subjects and actors in the understanding and dissemination of the cultural, scientific and technological production in ICB and in the natural interfaces with others sectors of the University and related institutions.

Values

CCEx believes that its actions must be collectively constructed, with the participation of staff, faculty and students of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. CCEx also values its commitment to meet society’s scientific and cultural yearnings, and the responsibility of keeping its social nature. Lastly, CCEx aims to remain associated to undergraduate, graduate and research activities, reflecting integrated actions among the Statutory Commissions.
